Helen Tepper

Whilst still working in the Art Room supporting individuals with disabilities and their families (my main passion) I was encouraged to take on Managing and supervisory roles. I was respected by my staff and was considered to be a fair, encouraging and motivational.

• Provided art therapy to individuals living with disabilities as a diversional therapy and to enhance their quality of life and self esteem. .
• Assisted individuals in developing coping strategies for stress management through creative expression activities.
• Developed goal-oriented activities to improve individuals level of functioning in support of other Allied Health teams.
• Developed and maintained therapeutic relationships with individuals fostering trust and open communication.
