In this role i work within a highly skilled and motivated team whose main focus is to deliver a service safely and efficiently.

We are currently involved with Project energy connect as subcontractors and our duties include but are not limited to

• Conductor run out
• Pre sag-Final sag
• Termination of tension towers
• clamping in conductor & Overheads
• installation of line hardware
• Complex rigging solutions

During my employment with Downer i was engaged in the assembly and erection of transmission towers on the South Australian side of Project Energy Connect. My duties mostly consisted of

• Lay out/Assembly of transmission towers as per engineering requirements
• Erection of towers using mobile slew crane and aerial personnel
• Revision of completed towers for sign off
• Assisted crane operators in making critical decisions regarding lift strategies while maintaining open lines of communication throughout the process.

During my employment with Quanta Lines i worked as part of a tower refurbishment crew on the Central Coast, NSW.

My responsibilities included,

• Climbing of structures to inspect steel
• Prepping towers for paint using air assisted wet abrasive blast methods
• Applying paint to towers while adhering to corrosion control industry standards
• foundation stub repair
• hardware replacement
• steel and bolt replacement

My job here at Fitzroy was my introduction to the transmission industry all be it blast and paint. During my early years here i progressed as a senior member of our team then ultimately become a supervisor of my own team. I completed formal Electrical supply training (E1) as well as Site Supervisor accreditation through the Transpower training provider Gridskills ltd. I enjoyed the physicality of my duties and the relationships built through hard work. My responsibilities and achievements included
