In my role as an Interior Designer, I am expected to act as a key bridge between the flooring and window treatment departments, delivering a fully integrated interior package that brings all design elements under one roof. I will be working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure cohesive, functional, and aesthetically refined interior solutions from concept through completion.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, lifestyle needs, and project requirements.
• Develop cohesive interior design concepts integrating flooring, window furnishings, and complementary interior treatments.
• Select, source, and specify materials, finishes, fabrics, colors, and textures suitable for each project.
• Create detailed mood boards, design presentations, and visual concepts, including fabric swatches, paint chips, and material samples.
• Prepare interior systems, finishes, schedules, and design documentation for project execution.
• Coordinate closely with the flooring and window treatment departments to ensure seamless, packaged solutions.
• Liaise with architects, builders, site supervisors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth implementation and adherence to design intent.
• Oversee project progress and support on-site execution to ensure designs are delivered accurately and efficiently.

• Sales consultation in design aspects.
• Administration work in the window treatment department, including invoicing, record keeping, and finalizing supplier and installer invoices, etc.
• Coordinating with suppliers, clients, installers and scheduling installations.
• Warehouse management and receiving finished products.

• Participating in meetings with clients, site visits, and outlining their requirements to cater according to the brief.
• Methodically conceptualize the design and present the ideas, details, and drawings through all media.
• Develop design concepts, space planning, associated drawings, sketches, illustrations, and diagrams to communicate the ideas.
• Negotiations, amendments, and finalizing the designs, coordinating with the QS team for cost estimates, and overseeing the budgetary proposals.
• Manage and organize the project timelines, financial allocations, labor and subcontract agreements, relevant approvals, selections of materials, colors, and other elements.
• Support the Project team to implement & carry out work.
• Overlook the entire design team, including marketing staff, and support the rest of the operation in the organization.
• Lead and coordinate the design team to ensure the collaborative delivery of client requirements and project objectives.

• Participate in client meetings and site visits to evaluate spatial characteristics, natural lighting, ventilation, and other site-specific factors, ensuring design concepts are developed in alignment with the client’s brief, functional needs, and overall vision.
• Designed floor plans, elevations, and 3D perspective views and material boards for both in-house review and presentation to client.
• Developed presentations to communicate design ideas effectively to clients.

• Converting available materials, old artifacts & antiques to furniture and new artifacts.
• Design, concept development & construction of up-market furniture.
