National manager role ensuring delivery of health and wellbeing programs and services

Strategy and direction:

Provide KiwiRail executive with high quality, evidence based, subject matter expertise to inform the strategic direction of KiwiRail’s occupational health programme of work.

Manage health and wellbeing programmes:

· Conduct appropriate health and wellbeing risk trend analysis

· Develop, deliver and manage health and wellbeing projects and programmes, including environmental monitoring to the support worker wellbeing

Stakeholder relationship management:

Cultivate and maintain working relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to the business, including regulatory and governing bodies.

Reporting:

Produce periodic analytical reporting to a variety of audiences on the organisation’s health risk profile, emerging health issues and health programme progress and performance.

Vendor and contract Management:

Procure health services providers, manage contracts and oversee the associated quality assurance functions ensuring ongoing quality service provision

Developed policy, community engagement, and compliance approaches for Auckland’s beach and coastal environments.

• Worked across departments and with surf lifesaving and emergency response services to develop practical, community-informed beach bylaw frameworks.
