As a Underground miner we are responsible for extracting minerals and other resources from beneath the earth's surface. They work in confined spaces and must follow strict safety protocols to ensure your safety and the safety of other colleagues. This role requires physical stamina, technical skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mining equipment such as ITs, loaders, haul trucks and LVs
- Conduct regular inspections of mining equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to minimize risks and hazards.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of mine tunnels and shafts.
- Monitor environmental conditions and report any issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with geologists and engineers to identify and extract resources efficiently.

Working Conditions:
I often work in shifts and required to work long hours in dark, confined spaces, varying temperatures and potential exposure to dust and noise.

As a Diamond Drillers Offsider i assist the drill crew in the operation of diamond drilling rigs, supporting the drilling process to extract core samples from the earth. This role is crucial for exploration and mining operations, requiring teamwork, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols.

- Assist the drill operator in setting up and maintaining drilling equipment.
- Handle core samples, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored.
- Monitor drilling operations and report any issues to the drill operator.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on drilling equipment.

Working Conditions:
As a Diamond Drillers Offsider i work in a remote setting and am required to work long hours, including weekends. The job can be physically demanding and involves exposure to various weather conditions.
