Successfully completed year 12 at Newhaven College (Phillip Island). Enlisted into the Royal Australian Air Force at age 19 as an Aircraft Life Support Fitter. After two years in RAAF Base Tindal working at 75 Squadron ALS I discharged and relocated to Newcastle. Since relocating, I have worked in various roles for Boeing Defence Australia including Aircraft Life Support Tradesperson, promoting to a Trade Supervisor within my first year at BDA and as Senior Technical Officer for Aircraft Life Support and Armament with experience on multiple different programs and associated aircraft.
Eager to get back on the tools and combine my Life Support and Armament backgrounds, I made an exciting career change in becoming an Ejection Seat Technician for Martin-Baker, the world leader in the design and manufacture of ejection and crashworthy seats.
My role as an Ejection Seat Technician is to maintain Ejection Seats and related safety and survival equipment (parachutes and survival kits).
Including training and providing education to both new and experienced aircrew on Ejection Seats and associated safety and survival equipment through simulated emergency egress pool drills and classroom based instruction.

My role as an Aircraft Life Support Fitter (ALSFITT) is to maintain aircraft mounted and aircrew mounted Life Support equipment and safety and survival equipment.
