Having to be committed to every training session and netball game without failure. This hard work culminated in State championship titles two years in a row. I no longer engage in elite level sport, as I want to channel the skills and character education. I can guarantee the same level of commitment I gave elite level sport. I will give my job and will put 110% effort into all areas of my work.
  • I have great leadership and management skills, as I was team leader for many years of my high level sporting career. I am able to to give the best support to my peers, encouraging and motivating them to excel in their abilities and personal resources, which helped them to accomplish their goals and ambitions.

Job overview

  • As a general assistant I worked in a variety of areas within the store. This includes deli, bakery, grocery(night fill, day time work) and checkouts.


  • taking on these jobs, allowed me to learn new skills, to which I consistently applied to all areas of my work.


  • I learnt how to successfully engaged and approach customers in a formal manner, to help and assist them with products they could not find, serving and packaging up deli meats and goods, as well as helping them at the checkouts.


  • I learnt how to engage with co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. I developed good time management skills, which helped me with completing tasks, and important duties that needed to be completed within set time frames, in a busy, fast- paced environment.
