- As a general assistant I worked in a variety of areas within the store. This includes deli, bakery, grocery(night fill, day time work) and checkouts.
- taking on these jobs, allowed me to learn new skills, to which I consistently applied to all areas of my work.
- I learnt how to successfully engaged and approach customers in a formal manner, to help and assist them with products they could not find, serving and packaging up deli meats and goods, as well as helping them at the checkouts.
- I learnt how to engage with co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. I developed good time management skills, which helped me with completing tasks, and important duties that needed to be completed within set time frames, in a busy, fast- paced environment.
