I am taking the Diploma of Customs Broking to direct my career to Licensed Custom Broker. I know that I am new to this industry, but I believe with my 20 years of experience in customer services, sales and marketing, accounting, and management in both Vietnam and Australia, I am confident in giving excellent customer service, managing complex administrative tasks to support business operations and great attention to detail in any job that I do. Proficient in ASIC regulations, corporate governance, and financial reconciliation.
· Coordinating with clients to obtain the necessary information, and documents and prepare forms to successfully lodge with the Australia Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) to incorporate companies and notify them about companies’ changes.
· Validating and/or correcting data elements in order forms to ensure they are in the approved format and structure acceptable to the Australian Corporations Law and ASIC’s regulations.
· Facilitating the set-up of companies and trusts by communicating the requirements with clients, communicating with external professionals involved in corporate governance, communicating with ASIC officers about difficulties and solving problems.
· Making timely contact with NSW or VIC Revenue officers for trust deed stamping and duty assessments for the clients in the urgency of property settlement.
· Acting as ASIC’s agent to ensure the companies’ annual compliance is coped with Australian Corporations Law.
· Preparing forms for companies’ changes such as change of registered office, resigning and appointing officers, issuing shares or change company share structures and lodging them with ASIC; then preparing all the minutes, consents and company secretarial documents for clients to sign and keep in the company register.
· Applying ABN, TFN, GST and PAYG with ABR and ATO on behalf of clients
· Setting up trusts (family trust, unit trust, SMSF, bare trust) and helping clients with resigning trustees, changing appointer, and amending the trust deed.
· Stamping all types of trust deeds
· Preparing invoices, reconciling accounts and tracing debts in MYOB
· Ensuring that procedures and documents are up to date and compliant with current legislation.
· Providing excellent customer service.
· Managing and updating database systems.
· Traceable 5-star reviews of clients left on the company website about excellent customer service since February 2023. Communicating with external professionals involved in corporate governance.
I worked in the banking industry from 2011 (after I came back home from Australia) till 2016- when I decided to do my start-up and explore myself more.
I experienced lots of different positions in the banking industry and in every position I always performed in the top 5 of the big banks and was promoted to Marketing Manager- level of Deputy Director at any bank at the age of 32.
