- I completed 160 hours of work placement at Guardian Childcare and education Rouse Hill South Centre. I supported educators in the nursery room, toddler room and preschool room with the care and supervision of children. During my time at the centre my main duties included:
- Supported with the wellbeing and care of all children in the centre.
- Ensured the health and safety of children by consistently monitoring their activities both indoors and outdoors.
- Engage with children to play and promote engagement and participation
- Established a safe, secure, and inclusive classroom setting where all children felt welcomed and valued.
- Maintained and fostered positive and constructive interactions with staff, families, and children.
- Applied play-based strategies to provide diverse approaches to learning.
