- My role at the Port Stephens koala hospital performing koala care is very time specific. I start early morning by going to various locations collecting koala feed which entails cutting down koala feed tree branches with various pieces of equipment. More roles that i do at the koala hospital include keeping our workspace clean and tidy, I also supervise my other teams paperwork making sure all data is entered correctly and up to standard. The hospital is a very sterile space so i must deep clean all surfaces and make sure all equipment is there and in the correct place. In our hospital we deal with very ill koalas so i must administrate medicines and supplement feeds. The hospital has recently expanded and now i also care for other sick and injured wildlife such as wombats, kangaroos and birds.
