Dear hiring manager. I’m happy to apply for this job! My name is Hyeona An. I previously worked as a librarian in Korea. I loved my job as a librarian because I have a deep passion for books and libraries. However, I decided to move to Australia and start a career in cooking due to the limited career prospects in my field. Although I initially started cooking for personal reasons, my experience at my first workplace was so enjoyable and fulfilling that I developed a genuine interest in it. Unlike six months ago when everything in the kitchen felt unfamiliar, now every moment I spend handling ingredients, holding a knife, or using a pan is enjoyable. While my cooking skills and sense for it are still developing, I am full of enthusiasm. My curiosity drives me to find joy in learning new things in areas that interest me. I will make up for my lack of skill with my passion.
