In 2019 I purchased an 8 Pallet Refrigerated Pantech truck and began contracting to Bidfood Australia.

I sold the Business in 2024 to relocate to Townsville with Family.

Aside from daily driving and maintenance of the vehicle from a business owner point of view i would carry out the following task.

  • Load and unload vehicle using forklift or BT operating equipment.
  • Consolidate customer orders in preparation for delivery.
  • Monitor vehicle refrigeration temperatures to unsure Food standard regulations were meet.
  • Personal interaction with customers ensuring a positive image for the Client (Bidfood Australia) was delivered.
  • Manage disputes with customers and reporting issues to Client (Bidfood Australia)
  • Handling Cash, Cheque's and Credit Card Payments.
  • Credit issuing and damaged good evaluation.
  • Identify potential vehicle maintenance issues as well as scheduled service intervals.
  • Arrange vehicle Licenses and permits.
  • Negotiate contract renewals.

Arriving in Australia 2011 on a business visa I had to identify and purchase a business that fulfilled the requirements set out by the department of Immigration.

In 2012 I purchased WashWorx Hand Carwash Cafe.

Vehicle detailing was not a field I had much experience in, but it was a great challenge and helped me familiarise myself with day to day business operations in Australia. During the seven years I owned the business I relocated it to a newer and larger premises increasing it range of services and increasing its profitability.

I sold the business in 2019 in pursuit of a new challenge.

Whilst building up a team of supervisors and management staff I still maintained a Hands-on daily presents in the business.

Some of my responsibilities were as follow.

  • Hired trained, and supervised staff to maintain high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.

After several years of working in the Northern provinces of South Africa, I identified a need for a private Tourist passenger transport service for international clients. Over the next 10 years, I grew the business to large fleet of small and Medium chauffeur driven vehicles servicing safari lodges and hotels all over South Africa.

I sold the business in 2010 I sold the business and moved my family to Australia.
