My name is indi banks, i am a 37 y/o male, living in the newcastle area.
i have a wide range of skills and experience over a variety of industries including construction, mining & hospitality.

i now feel at this point in my life its a good time for me to undertake an apprenticeship and start a new career, learning new skills and growing in a industry that interests me. I am committed to carrying out the hours of study required as well as the practical hands on lessons needed for the role.

My years of experience and my age will be a benefit you, as i have the maturity and sense of commitment you wont find in a younger applicant. i am also extremely goal and work oriented as well as punctual with good self discipline both in my personal and work life.

In my time across various roles i have picked up a number or skills including assessing risks in the workplace, maintaining safe work practices, keeping stocktakes, managing other staff and providing first aid. I work well as part of a team and always strive to meet goals and carry out tasks efficiently and effectively.

I have a diverse knowledge and capability with a variety of tools and machinery, including hand tools, power tools, welders and plasma cutters. I also have experience operating various machines both in my current role where forklifts are used daily as well as in a previous job working in the mines operating a sandvik dump truck.
