Accomplishments

  • Research Interests: The behaviour of light has fascinated humankind for centuries, and controlling light underlies many powerful technologies. The intelligent use of light has generated high-performance optical devices, including optical communication systems for high-speed computing. The main focus of my research is nonlinear optics and nanophotonic for a wide range of applications, emphasizing the study of the resonant light-matter interaction. My research involves designing several devices mainly used in the optical communication system as well as renewable energy such as fibre lasers, photodetectors, solar cells, and optical sensors. One of my key objectives is the development of new methods and approaches for the effective control and routing of optical signals at the subwavelength scale, facilitating the emergence of novel nanotechnologies
  • Project 1. Design and Implement Smart Security System (Final year project, Sep 2014 – May 2015)
  • Project 2. Mode Locked Erbium Doped Fiber Laser Using ZnO Nanoparticles as Saturable Absorber (Master project, Mar 2017 – Mar 2018)
  • Project 3 .High-Q Resonant Modes for Light-Matter Interaction Enhancement in Emerging Semiconductor Materials (PhD project, Feb 2019 – Mar 2023)
  • I have an excellent track record of publishing research results in highly recognized journals such as Laser Physics, Publisher: IOPscience, Indian Journal of Physics, Publisher: Sprenger, Optical Fiber Technology, Publisher: ELSEVIER, and American Chemical Society (ACS photonics). Furthermore, I have published 22 internationally recognized technical articles (17 journal papers and five conference papers) These technical articles have been cited more than 350 times with an h-index of 10 (according to Google Scholar Citation as attached below). This includes two papers published in two of the best-known journals in the field of physics: Laser & Photonics Reviews with an Impact Factor of 13.
