 · Oversee sample management within the laboratory to ensure the timely receipt, processing, storage, and shipping of study samples as well as accurate completion of relevant documentation in a contemporaneous, accurate and legible manner in accordance with ICH-GCP.

· Ensure that all sample management performed in the laboratory is completed as per NN approved study documents.

· Provide leadership in the laboratory by providing training, supervision, education, and support.

· Participate in the daily activities of the laboratory with 80% of time dedicated to laboratory and 20% dedicated to administrative tasks.

· Understand the relevance of the tasks performed to the overall output and goals of the area.

· Assist Laboratory Technicians to complete Learning and Development KPIs

· Manage and supervise Laboratory Technicians and sample management activities per LPP and troubleshoot any on-study issues that arise in the laboratory on a day-to-day basis.

· Prioritise and assign tasks within a time critical environment to ensure study samples are collected, processed, stored, and shipped in accordance with approved protocol, sponsor requirements and NN Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

· Monitor laboratory activities and work quality to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures

· Maintenance of lab instruments, i.e. calibrating and adjusting, Quality Control, as well as conducting periodic tests on them to ensure they function efficiently and accurately.  .
