Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Planning: Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and positive classroom environment, ensuring that students are engaged, well-behaved, and safe.
• Instruction: Deliver lessons that cover various subjects such as numeracy, literacy, arts and science. Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Assessment: Evaluate and assess student performance through formative and summative assessment.
• Individualised Support: Provide additional support and accommodations for students with special needs or learning difficulties. Collaborate with special education professionals when necessary.
• Communication: Regularly communicate with parents or guardians to update them on their child's progress, behaviour, and any other concerns. Attend parent-teacher conferences and meetings.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in teaching, educational trends, and curriculum developments.
• Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, following school policies and emergency procedures.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to enhance the educational experience and contribute to the school's overall goals.
