As a moderator for the PPIA USYD Career Accelerator Program discussion on "Landing Your First Job in Australia," I played a key role in facilitating a valuable exchange between industry professionals and Indonesian students seeking careers in Australia. This experience honed my skills in:

• Leading Discussions: I ensured a productive and engaging conversation by guiding the discussion, posing insightful questions, and encouraging participation from all panelists and students.
• Cross-Cultural Communication: Effectively moderating a discussion with both professionals and students from different cultural backgrounds required sensitivity and the ability to bridge any communication gaps.
• Knowledge Dissemination: I ensured the panelists' insights and advice were clearly communicated to the students, focusing on practical strategies for navigating the Australian job market.

Event: PPIA USYD Career Accelerator Program: The Role of Public Speaking for Personal Branding (Event PIC & Moderator)

Goal: Bridge the gap between student and professional life by equipping students with the power of public speaking for effective personal branding.

My Role:

• Event Planning & Coordination (PIC): Led the organization of the event, securing speakers, panelists, and managing logistics.
• Panel Discussion Moderator: Facilitated a discussion between industry professionals and students, ensuring all voices were heard and key points addressed.

Event Activities:

• Expert Panel Discussion: Professionals shared insights on the importance of public speaking in career advancement, personal branding strategies, and effective communication techniques.
• Interactive Q&A Session: Students actively engaged with the panelists, asking questions about real-world scenarios and career-specific advice.

As an elected advisor/mentor for the PPIA USYD's Stop Drop Enrol (SDE) event, I played a key role in supporting new Indonesian freshman students during their transition to university life. This leadership experience involved:

• Curriculum Development: I collaborated with the SDE team to design workshops and presentations that addressed crucial aspects of university life, including navigating academics, managing timetables, and building a fulfilling social network.
• Mentorship and Guidance: I provided individual guidance and advice to students, helping them adjust to the academic rigor, understand effective degree and unit selection strategies, and develop time management skills.
• Promoting Social Integration: I facilitated discussions and activities to help students connect with peers, navigate campus resources, and understand the social landscape of university life.

In this role, I volunteered with an educational social project, delivering free presentations and interactive sessions on economics and renewable energy to elementary school students in Plosogede District. This experience honed my skills in:

• Curriculum Development: I researched and developed age-appropriate content to introduce complex topics like economics and renewable energy to young minds.
• Interactive Learning: I designed engaging activities and presentations to spark curiosity and encourage participation among the students.
• Communication & Adaptability: Effectively communicating complex concepts to a young audience required clear, concise language and the ability to adapt my approach based on their understanding.
• Community Engagement: Collaborating with the school and understanding the community's needs ensured the project's relevance and impact.
