My name is Ingrid, I am 19 years old and I just moved to Sydney from Denmark a couple weeks ago. I think I would be a great asset to your team with my experience and willingness to learn. I just came from the restaurant I worked at back in Copenhagen and am therefore used to the fast-paced environment. I am experienced with managing customer interactions, as well as contributing to a welcoming and fun atmosphere.
As a waitress at the italian restaurant that i worked at in Copenhagen, called Cantina, I was responsible for taking orders, arriving with the food and ensuring that my guests were satisfied, as well as clearing and setting tables. At that job I learnt a lot about customer service and how to work in a fast-paced environment, which has given me some amazing tools that have helped me prioritise my work tasks as well as making me more efficient when the restaurant was busy. Here I also learnt to work well with my colleagues and was apart of a fun team, where we would help each other out and create a fun and strong work environment.
At the pharmacy/beauty shop that I worked at, I learnt a lot about customer service while being behind the cash register and helping customers find the products that they needed. I learned a lot about building relationships with frequent customers and how to approach difficult customers. I also learnt how to be efficient and doing things quickly, such as rearranging products, counting the register and making sure that the prices and sales were up in the store.
Working in a bakery was my first job. I worked at the register and was responsible for giving good customer service, cleaning tables, making sure the bakery was stocked with all the baked goods and other small tasks to ensure that the bakery was in good shape.
