I had gained a Scrub/Scout position as a New Graduate nurse working under my preceptor's supervision. Dividing first 6 months focusing on fundamental of circulating in minor cases to major complicated Hepatectomy. Next 6 months was highly focused on instrumental skills, I have worked throughout minor and major surgeries comprising different specialties such as Anterior resection, Hysterectomy, laser lithotripsy and Mastoidectomy.

Through out my employment I have gained various opportunities, skills and knowledge including but not limited to

• Coordinated and initiated huddles with the teams to plan, implement, assess and evaluate patient care plans.
• Precepted nursing students on placement and new graduate nursing following established standards of practice
• Prepared operating theatre by ensuring it met asepsis standards, as well as setting out, organising and counting instruments and Prosthetic for each procedure.
• Used aseptic techniques to maintain sterile fields and actively monitored situations to prevent breaches in aseptic techniques.
• Coordinated and consulted with healthcare teams to plan, implement, assess and evaluate patient care plans.
