• Replaced damaged, missing, or defective parts with new and refurbished components.
• Completed full vehicle inspections to check for leaks, damage, or other issues of concern.
• Inspected and tested equipment to locate worn and damaged parts.
• Inspected and tested vehicles and completed preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, and filter replacement.
• Entertained and booked customers in for services, and explaining issues to them to maintain good customer service

I started working here because of my passion in the automotive world. This workshop specializes in old hondas where we focus on making the engine bay aesthetics and exterior aesthetics. i instantly started working there after my final year exam, 3days after to be exact. The main project that was ongoing was an AP1 S2000. The customer's plans for the car was:

• clean up the engine bay's wiring
• galvanise all the engine bolts
• relocate the ABS pump and it's wiring
• changed the water and a/c hoses for AN fittings

All the efforts the make the engine bay look as clean as possible.

Other side projects I worked on while I was there was

• change the clutch on a 4AGE corolla KE70, B18C EK3 civic
• solve coolant leaks, brake leaks, and restore the interior of an R34 GTR
• solve fuel leak problem on a MK4 supra

I didn't work here for the money, all I wanted was to learn more about how cars work and how we could modify them to look/perform better before I leave to study in Australia.

i was 15 years old at this time, I had just finished my big exam for the year and I had a 2 and a half month break. In this short period I learnt so much about how cars work

• a lot of oil changes
• 2 brake replacements
• helped overhaul 2 engines, one blown head gasket (Honda accord) and the other was cracked piston and ring lands (Toyota AE86)
• mock up a turbo in a Proton Satria
• change axles on a Toyota MR2 Spyder
• started an abandoned car
