Isabella Browne is a filmmaker currently studying at Swinburne University of Technology. She has various experience in short film productions, working as a producer, director, writer, production designer and assistant director. Her recent work includes producing 'The Frost, The Sun and The Wind' A Holocaust narrative documentary and 'The Eyes of Lily' a short graduate film. Her film ‘Step into the Light’, was featured at the Ballarat Next Gen Exhibition and her documentary ‘Where We Left Off’ (2023) was officially selected and screened at the 2024 Melbourne Documentary Film Festival and made official selection of the New Zealand Indie Film Festival (2024). Recently, Isabella has directed, produced and co-edited a documentary in Bangladesh as a part of an overseas study tour program. She has a keen passion for assistant directing, and aims to harness her leadership skills by undertaking the AFTRS certificate in Assistant Directing short program.
