As second-in-command of the 26th Transport Squadron, 9th Force Support Battalion, I provide oversight, coordination and the provision of welfare and personnel management across the Squadron. I am also responsible for the provision of all administrative procedures, WH&S practices all sub-unit related security matters requiring close coordination with Battalion HQ staff.
As the Operations Officer of the Vanuatu Government National Emergency Radio Network Phase 3D deployment from June to December 2023, I was directly responsible for coordinating all life support requirements for a contingent of 22 ADF personnel and 8 Vanuatu Police Force attachments, spread across 16 islands. I was required to plan, coordinate and execute accommodation, transport, freight and movements for personnel and equipment throughout the archipelago. As part of my role, I was responsible for managing the deployment's multi-million dollar budget.
In July 2022, I was posted as the Transport Troop Commander of 1st Signal Regiment. This role included the management of soldier's welfare in both the barracks and deployed environment. Additionally, I provided direct transportation and logistic support to numerous dependencies of 1st Signal Regiment, and directly forecasted the logistics requirements in support of exercises and operations.
As a Staff Officer in the Army Strategic Engagements Cell, I provided direct administrative and operational support to the head of Army's Strategic Engagements. During this posting, I directly facilitated and supported key stakeholder functions and engagements in support of the Australian Army's key strategic objectives.
