Accomplishments

Starting my own small side creative business - Flora Craftique Designs.

Project Management and Coordination - Hosting an interactive art event in the Illawarra - 7 Minutes in Heaven - A Speed Art Experience in collaboration with Side Door Theatre.

I pitched this creative idea to them, and we have been communicating and sharing thoughts through social media and emails—covering everything from event dates and envisioned design layouts to ticket prices and finances. I created cheerful promotional images and videos for social media, utilising photo and video editing applications like BeFunky and Splice. I wrote an engaging description to help spread the word on their social media platforms. Furthermore, I’ve been sharing the event on local social media community pages that focus on arts and media to reach even more people. I've contacted local media companies to see if they would assist in promoting the event. In preparation for the event, I’ve outlined specific goals and set a timeline for achieving these objectives, such as purchasing décor and art materials, scheduling social media posts, and preparing content for promotional updates. To keep everything on track financially, I’ve been using Excel to monitor our spending and ensure we stick to our budget while watching for potential profits. I regularly check in with the owner to keep tabs on ticket sales and our media engagement from promotional efforts, and we brainstorm together on ways to boost interest in the event. I am continuing with art event organisation and promotion throughout this year in my spare time.
