I currently work in the Commercial Litigation team. I am primarily involved in historical abuse claims, but also assist with defamation and copyright matters. Monash Law Clinic is a community legal centre that offers free legal advice to those most in need in the community. I was responsible for a wide variety of legal tasks such as interviewing clients, conducting legal research and providing clients with legal advice. I was exposed to a range of complex legal issues such as family violence, intervention orders, tenant rights, property disputes, infringements, divorces, and child protection matters. I undertook this role whilst completing the Juris Doctor at Monash University.
Natasha Schweitzer is a high-end fine jewellery store in Armadale. They offer a bespoke experience, with most clients opting to have pieces custom made. This required strong communication skills to ensure clients received what they envisioned. I was trained as a diamond specialist but also stepped into a manager role towards the end of my tenure.
I was responsible for the training and racing programs of my designated crews. Organisation and communication were the primary skills that were developed in this role. Children have many complex needs and require constant supervision and guidance. Creating a supportive and structured environment for them was a serious role but one I found incredibly rewarding.
I was awarded the Top of Subject Award in 2024 for Negotiations. This is awarded to students who receive the highest mark in a subject.
