Work History

Swim Instructor

Methodist Ladies' College
01.2025 - Current
  • Amongst finishing school, I wanted to combine my previous skills and experience from Netball coaching and surf lifesaving , which lead to a beginner role as a Swim Instructor. Beginning with monitored teaching to support my on-going development as an instructor, I shadowed my colleagues and began to incorporate my skills to become a certified Swim Instructor.
  • Combining my familiarity with the water, a love for sport, patience, empathy, experience with young children, and clear communication skills, I am passionate about giving back to younger generations and enjoy watching their growth and development as swimmers.

Netball Coaching

Methodist Ladies College
02.2024 - 10.2024
  • I chose to expand my skills as a sports coach through a second season as a Netball Coach, this time working with girls in years prep to year 3. Whilst this younger co-hort was more challenging to organise and keep entertained, my main goal was to instill a love for the sport and the joys of physical activity within the young group.

Netball Coaching

Boroondara Netball Association
03.2023 - 10.2023
  • Worked closely with a co-coach to prepare and facilitate beginner netball sessions for girls aged 8-10 years old.
  • Developed a strong sense of compassion, leadership, and interpersonal skills to ensure the younger girls enjoyed their time on the court.
  • Learned to balance a direct and approachable personality to ensure skill improvement and an effective relationship with my co-coach.

Portsea Hotel
12.2022 - 01.2023
  • Provided exceptional customer service while taking and delivering food orders efficiently.
