My current job is a bartender at the palace, which is a nightclub located in the centre of the CBD. Working at a night club has gotten me used to long hours overnight as I frequently clock on at around 8 PM and finish at around 4-5 AM. From my few months being bartender, I have picked up great people skills as well as an extensive knowledge when it comes to alcohol due to me constantly making cocktails as well as other mixed drinks. We are taught to respect our bar so at the end of each shift we to an extensive cleaning of the benchtop, bottle, bar, fridges as well as the tables.
