Izumi Hewitt

I worked at the cafe during the busy school holiday period as part of the team. I worked as a barista while also making milkshakes, smoothies, and acai bowls. My role was also to help out with customer service. I took orders on the iPad and recorded customer names, ensuring customers got their orders and any problems were resolved correctly.

At Barnett's Bakery, I worked serving customers with a wide variety of pies, cakes and beverages. The job required memorization and constant attention to the changing menu and the changing prices of the products. I also was trained as a Barista during my time at Barnett's Bakery. I became an important part of the team, excelling at remembering all the jobs needed to open and close the shop. I also worked overtime with my co-workers when the shop cleaner was on holiday to clean the shop after closing shifts.
