- It was an honour serving my club, Portsea Surf Lifesaving Club as the 2022/2023 Nippers Chief Instructor.
-I had done the nippers program myself at the age of 7 and went through all the Potsea lifesaving education programs all the way up to achieve my Bronze medallion and my Silver medallion where I received my advanced resuscitation certificate and first aid award.
- I saw it as vital to give back to my club through the education program and was selected as the 2022/23 Nippers Chief Instructor. I was in charge of organising our instructors to the correct stations, writing emails to parents and ensuring the program went smoothly. Nippers Chief Instructor taught me the importance of education, water safety and awareness.
-I worked as a waiter at this beautiful cafe in Toorak. It was my first job where I learnt how to work in a team environment and provide excellent service to our regular cliental.
-I took orders, made drinks and teas, ran plates and got to know the loyal customers as they came back again and again for their morning coffee and breakfast, sometimes even for late lunch.
-Cathy as the owner was able to mentor and guide me into a rounded and skilled waiter.
- Liz was critical in building my skills as a waiter at the Botanic Cafe. The bustling cafe in the heart of Toorak had many unique requirements and special guests.
-Liz has worked in the catering and hospitality business for many years and is highly respectable and successful. Liz was able to share the nuances of hospitality and refine my quality of service so that I was able to handle sections on my own.
-Liz was not only a great colleague but I am proud to call her my friend.
-Hanyu qiao winner- Chinese speaking and performance global winner 2023 and national finalist 2022.
-Cox of the Year Award (rowing award) 2022- was ranked the best coxswain at my school over the 2021/22 rowing season with my commitment and dedication to the sport I love.
I have been a rowing coxswain for three years now since year 8 at Melbourne Grammar School. In a sport like rowing, you must be determined, self-motivated and driven to achieve excellence as this sport takes up a substantial amount of time. Acting as a the cox of my crew, I have been abler to use my motivational skills and communication to drive the boys to many successes in races and making sure that everyone is performing at their optimal.
