Facilitated transportation of equipment on roadwork projects in Cape York by driving a Kenworth 650 truck set up for multiple configurations.
This also required the use of auxiliary equipment, such as loaders to self load (998-992), excavators for loading of moxies (30T-45T Cat) and the use of various sized dozers for cleanup and road building.
Also driving our machines onsite at andoom mine for “RIO Tinto.”

Driving A-B triple side tippers both crash box and auto (my normal truck is a Kenworth c509 with a 18 speed crashbox) hauling coal to and from various mine sites in the Central Queensland region.
Majority of work is on small bitumen roads where you have to be very aware of what your doing and where you truck is sitting, also Hi-way work depending on where we are running and have done short haul onsite work from stockpiles to train loadout.
Always doing thorough pre-starts, minor truck maintence (tyres/greasing), following all NHVR rules and regulations.

Operating CAT D11R/T and D10T doing roadworks, tip heads and floors also on minimal supervison training, driving a RH340 excavator and Liebherr 9800 loading Komatsu 930 electric haul trucks and/or 793c CAT mechanical haul truck in pre-strip.

Driving machinery such as Cat 789C, 789B, trucks. Cat D10T, D11T, D11R Dozers and Hitachi electric 3500, and 4000 rear dumps, my main job onsite was bulk push (from uncovering coal to rehab work) with a D11R/ or T model.
Also spent a lot of time doing dumps and floors great confidence on all machinery.

Duties included cattle fencing, tank building, installing cattle troughs / pipelines and mustering over various stations.
Working with a large crew for long periods of time, requiring good communication skills to work in with helicopter, plane and ground crews.
During this time I lived in remote places across WA, mostly working 7 days a week and at least 12 hours a day.
During this time I was operating machinery such as bobcats, loaders, trucks (carting machinery/ cattle and supplies), bull buggies and motorbikes.
As we had to service all our bikes, buggies, and quads every day my mechanical skills have improved over time, we also had to learn how to improvise and fix our vehicles to appropriate standards when there was something wrong and no one around if we were in a remote area.
