I am currently in Australia on my 3rd working holiday visa and looking for work in the golf industry.
I have a huge passion for golf and have worked in and around the industry for the past 3 years. I have been working for GolfClubs4cash in Edinburgh, Scotland which is now Europe's largest retailer of used golf equipment. Within my first year of employment I was promoted to supervisor of Communications and Trades, a role which I enjoyed immensely. This role allowed me to improve my leadership, communication and listening skills. I am a hardworking individual with a real passion for the work I do.
- I worked with this company on two separate occasion in 2017 and 2020.
- Covering wheat and grain in Lake Grace and surrounding areas (WA) after harvest.
- Dealing with machinery to pull tarps over the bulk heads where the produce is stored for winter.
- Worked in a large team with mainly backpackers and enjoyed it immensely.
- During the harvest we worked 13 days on and 1 off for around 3-4 months.
- In 2020 I worked in Lake Grace Mon-Fri repairing tarps to make sure they were fit for harvest.
I really enjoy golf back home and play for a club in competitive matches and have a handicap of 1. WIth my previous job I had the opportunity to play some of the best courses in Scotland.
I spent 3 months in the French Alps back in 2015 and completed a snowboarding instructors course. Try to get away most years for a few weeks in the alps to get back on my board.
I also play for a local rugby team in Edinburgh.
