As a Concreter for FKG my role is to be an all rounder which would include formwork , steel fixing and ground works for civil, working along side machines.

I've been on numerous projects around Queensland at Coal mines with BMA and Moomba Gas Plant in South Australia with Santos.

Certain jobs would include spill ways, footings, tank slabs, cable trenches, ring beams, compressor slabs and other works.

• Screed flat and finish concrete to a high standard with stand up trowel machine or ride on machines.
• Form up concrete pours with dowel attachments.
• Prep sub grades using height pins or laser.
• Read plans for steel fixing.
• Prep and pour concrete slabs, carparks, footpaths.
• Maintained clean, safe worksite for team safety and to help keep projects on-track.

• Read plans to form up house slabs.
• Read plans for steel layout.
• Prep and pour concrete slab.
• Form up step downs and recess showers.
• Finish concrete slab with stand up trowel machine.
• Finish step down areas with broom finish.

• Finish Concrete with stand up trowel machine and ride on machines.
• Read plans for steel layout.
• Steel fixing.
• Prep and pour concrete projects.
• lay bondek or condek out over structural steel.

• Factory set up and pour.
• Ride on Trowel Machines.
• Carpark set out with height pins and valleys.
• Read plans for steel layout.
• Read plans to form up house slabs.
• Prep and pour concrete slab.
• Form up step downs and recess showers.
• Finish concrete slab with stand up trowel machine.
• Finish step down areas with hand stipple.
