Summary

I am immensely interested in the available permanent positions within Ambulance Tasmania, the southern region. My morals, skillset, and attributes align with those of Ambulance Tasmania, and I believe that I would be an asset to the service as a permanent paramedic. I have been drawn to this position since I commenced my clinician journey through completing a Bachelor of Nursing Degree, which has led me to complete a Bachelor of Paramedic Practice. I am passionate about this career path in healthcare, and it is something that I can see myself working in throughout my life. My biggest motivating factor as a Paramedic is to make a difference within the healthcare system, particularly in mental health, which I have worked as a Registered Nurse from 2021-2023. I was fortunate enough to be offered a graduate position as a Paramedic within Ambulance Tasmania, to which I have now become qualified. As a qualified Paramedic, I can wholeheartedly say that I am living my dream and every day excited me come to work at Ambulance Tasmania. I am a kind, compassionate, caring, and trustworthy individual who holds themself to an exceedingly high standard in relation to professionalism, and I believe that I have upheld these attributes throughout my graduate paramedic programme and continue to do so throughout my qualified practices. In addition to my relevant training, qualifications, and experience, I bring a positive attitude, person-centred nature, and devotion to this career path. I would like to relish the opportunity to apply my communication skills and empathetic character and continue to develop my skills and learning from the experienced Paramedics of Ambulance Tasmania. I believe that an exceptional Paramedic possesses the fundamental skills and traits of resilience, a kind-hearted and outgoing personality, the ability to remain composed in demanding environments, and most importantly, effective communication. I bring an open-minded persona and willingness to learn alongside the desire to receive constructive feedback from my mentors and peers. I look forward to hearing back from your highly respected organisation, Warm Regards, Jack Dare
