Hi Kathleen
I wanted to bring to your attention the wonderful service that both my Mother and I received at
the Estee Lauder Counter at your Hobart Myer store.
We originally attended the store a few months ago as I wanted to spoil myself with some new
make up, I historically have only bought drug store brands however I thought it was time for a
change.
I attended many counters and although they were busy I didn't even receive a "I'll be with you in a
minute" or basic eye contact and a smile. This changed when I approached the Estee Lauder
Counter.
Although both Annie and Jack were busy, they both made eye contact they both smiled and they
both made us feel welcome. This is a fundamental element of customer service.
Once Jack was finished with his current customer he asked me what I was looking for, for someone
who doesn't have a great skin care routine like me it was wonderful to get this high level of
assistance. He helped me select the correct products and took the time to apply the makeup for
me.
At the completion of this My Mum who had no intention of buying or trying anything asked him if
he could help her too, the care he took with my Mum making sure that the products he chose were
right for her was heartwarming to watch.
We both purchased every product he used on us that day.
Since then my mother has gone back to see him again to stock up on product for while she is
travelling Australia and spent in excess of $600 on that visit alone. Once again out standing
service.
I had the pleasure of returning today to restock on some items and was once again greeted warmly
by these 2 wonderful people.
If I hadn't had that first interaction with Annie and Jack I can assure you I would not have
purchased, I would not have joined the Myer club and I would not be a regular customer to your
store.
Please pass on my thanks to both Annie and Jack. Jack truly is a breath of fresh air and any
employer would be lucky to have him.
