At Obriens i mainly work with Rinnai as the company has the break down contract. This mainly involves going to break downs or services of water heaters, cylinders and portable heaters. I know have a great understanding of all these units.

As well as doing services on domestic and commercial sites.

In this role i've done a small amount of other plumbing jobs.

A little bit about my company. I was self employed fairly young which I thrived on. Which I ran for just over five years before I decided to up shift my life recently to Sydney.

My skills from this job:

-Hard working; Im happy to work as long as it takes to get the job done

-High standard of work; I prided myself In getting jobs done to a high standard. This is important to me.

-Customer skills; communication with keys is very important. I had a great relationship with my customers and i've received a lot of messages from my customers saying the will miss me now i've gone.

-Organisation skills; with it just being me and jobs flying in it was important to be organised wether with paper work, ordering materials, prices and keeping in contact with customers.

-Learning on the job; I feel like in this industry you're always coming across new things or challenges. Its important to be able to be imaginative and be able to see of different options. Its something I really enjoy about the job.

I mainly worked on domestic property's doing bathrooms, boilers, gas work and general plumbing. I also worked with a few builders on barn conversions.

This is the company where I stated and completed my apprenticeship. I started my qualification before I joined the company. I then completed my apprenticeship a year earlier than is normal. Which was great for me as I loved being at work rather in the class room.

Qualifications i received:

-Level 2 NVQ plumbing

-Gas safe

-Unvented water cylinders

While at this company I mainly worked on new build sites with some domestic work.

Ill keep this one short as it was a job I did when I was 17/18. But even though I new this was just a job in till I got into plumbing I still worked very hard. I was promoted and the company also wanted me to stay on and go for management before I left for focus on my plumbing apprenticeship.
