As an accomplished and highly efficient management professional coupled with high-level time management skills, I am actively pursuing a challenging new career opportunity as a Teacher’s Aid and Support role within the NSW Education Department with the desire to undertake new challenges and make a valuable contribution to the children and the teachers within the NSW education system. Throughout my career spanning 20 years, I have demonstrated a proven track record of accomplishment working in a large and complex organisations with proven expertise in the development and management of programs, service delivery and operations, working with and coordinating families and support for families as well as advanced interpersonal skills including a proven ability to motivate, influence, persuade and negotiate with support organisations (internal and external) and other linked stakeholders at all levels. I am confident I would make a positive contribution to the Lake Cathie Primary School and schools within my local area. I was fortunate enough to be raised in a Catholica household in both Primary and Secondary schools, and our family have a deep faith that allows us to understand the needs and opportunities within the schools.
By working as a teacher's aid, I have the opportunity to bring kindness and warmth and positivity to the children and classroom. I would be able to provide essential support to the teacher, helping with tasks like organising materials, preparing activities, and providing one-on-one assistance to students who may need extra help. I know that I could bring a sense of encouragement and support to the learning environment. Sharing my learned and lived experiences and insights may also be of value. Whether it's through mentoring students, leading group discussions or providing a positive and emotionally regulated approach using techniques I have learned through parenting courses over the last 7 years I feel I would be beneficial to the teachers and classroom environment. My organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude would be able to fit in well at St Agnes Primary School,
