JACQUELINE ANDERSON

I currently work in Dr Thornton's rooms on a part-time basis. I assist Dr Thornton with local procedures in his rooms. This includes difficult extractions, biopsies and exposures for orthodontics. I am responsible for cleaning and sterilising the instruments and educating the patients on their post-op care.

I am currently employed on a casual basis as a scrub scout nurse. I have over 20years experience in the operating theatres. I can work in orthopaedics, general, faciomaxillary, gynaecology, minor plastics and minor opthalmic procedures.

I am currently employed on the casual pool and work as scrub, scout in many specialties. I cover othapecics, gynecology, faciomaxillary, plastics and general. I scout in major spinal and thoracic.

Begining at Mt Druitt Hospital as an Enrolled nurse, working on a surgical / orthapedic ward. Transfured to the operating suite 5yrs later and became a registered nurse in 2004. Trained as a scrub / scout and was a preceptor for students and new graduates. Had the roll of Nursing Educator for a period of time at Mt Druitt.
