Work History

PSP Coordinator

09.2021 - Current

In my current position as Permanency Support Program (PSP) Coordinator at MacKillop Family Services, I am responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality foster and kinship care services for children and young people in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC). My role sits within a trauma-informed practice framework and aligns with MacKillop’s Sanctuary Model and values.

I provide operational leadership and clinical oversight across a team of caseworkers, ensuring the delivery of safe, stable, and permanent care outcomes. This includes managing case planning pathways such as restoration, guardianship, adoption, and long-term care, while maintaining full compliance with the Child and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998, Office of the Children’s Guardian (OCG) standards, and DCJ contractual requirements.

My role also involves a strategic component, contributing to service development, change management, and embedding reflective practice within the team. I am accountable for team wellbeing, and the professional integration of trauma-informed principles across day-to-day operations.

This position builds on 17 years of frontline experience and leadership in child protection and OOHC.
