Summary

I know most people get AI to write this but I think its important to be yourself. I come from an early childhood teaching background, from this role I supported various children with disabilities and their families through the barriers in their everyday lives. It was from here I wanted to find a role that allowed me to advocate more for children with disabilities.

I applied to be an early childhood practitioner at Meli and was successful. In this role I was able to promote a contemporary view of disability, support families in advocating for their children with disabilities and support families from various backgrounds and views in navigating the NDIS. Committed to fostering inclusive environments in both the Meli organisation and also out in the community to promote accessibility to all and decrease the barriers within our society. My family faces these each and everyday with my sister in law so it sits close to my heart.

I have a positive 'can do' attitude and a passion to get up each and everyday and make a change. I enjoy learning new things and finding new ways to make meaning. I enjoy being apart of a team, and believe team culture is import to ensure everyone feels valued and driven to keep creating positive outcomes.

My goal in this world is to make a difference, no matter how small it might be.
