Working with VAD practitioners to implement, deliver and evaluate the WNSWLHD VAD model of care and provide expert leadership, guidance and support for staff and patients

Lead development of operational processes, governance, policies and resources to support implementation and administration of VAD within WNSWLHD

Lead and provide expert advice to the WNSWLHD VAD service ensuring that the service delivers compassionate, high-quality care and support for patients, staff and key stakeholders in this process

Promote professional support and debriefing, legal compliance, accreditation standards, risk management and quality improvement relating to VAD

Facilitate partnerships, collaboration, and coordination between WNSWLHD clinical services and external stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to VAD that aligns with the WNSWLHD VAD Model of Care and the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022

Manage both human and financial resources of the service to achieve service delivery targets, whilst maximising service delivery outcomes for patient/clients and anticipate and addressing projected future financial, personnel and physical resource challenges.

Contribute to continuous improvement and education of best practice including policy development, relevant monitoring, evaluation and reporting of key performance indicators to ensure a timely and high-quality service provision

• Lead the design, development and implementation of local procedures, systems and processes to support Western NSW LHD's implementation of the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022.

• Implementation of Living Well Together initiatives designed to create positive and healthy workplace culture, enhancing employee's skill sets and assist in building high performing teams
• Providing program and project management expertise to support the delivery and implementation of transformational initiatives associated with the Whole of Hospital project and in alignment with the WNSW LHD - Strategic Plan 2020-25.

• Coordinating and supporting the safe, timely admission of patients to Dubbo Health Service
• Providing leadership and management of staff, services and resources to ensure delivery of safe, effective, quality nursing and midwifery care.

• Coordinating specialist care and treatment and interfacility transfers within and out of WNSWLHD.

• Expert specialist emergency nursing care.

• New graduate nursing program and generalist nursing in a variety of rural settings.
