Working with VAD practitioners to implement, deliver and evaluate the WNSWLHD VAD model of care and provide expert leadership, guidance and support for staff and patients

Lead development of operational processes, governance, policies and resources to support implementation and administration of VAD within WNSWLHD

Lead and provide expert advice to the WNSWLHD VAD service ensuring that the service delivers compassionate, high-quality care and support for patients, staff and key stakeholders in this process

Promote professional support and debriefing, legal compliance, accreditation standards, risk management and quality improvement relating to VAD

Facilitate partnerships, collaboration, and coordination between WNSWLHD clinical services and external stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to VAD that aligns with the WNSWLHD VAD Model of Care and the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022

Manage both human and financial resources of the service to achieve service delivery targets, whilst maximising service delivery outcomes for patient/clients and anticipate and addressing projected future financial, personnel and physical resource challenges.
