I am currently on a temporary contract as a Processing Officer in the Offence Processing Unit (OPU) in the Fine Administration and Management Division. OPU is responsible for providing information to customers and clients for the payment and processing of infringement notices. This includes handling customer and client inquiries, receiving, inputting, acknowledging and maintaining records of hand written infringement notices issued by Queensland police officers.

  • Performed data entry tasks, including entering infringements into the system.

Achievements

During my time with OPU, I successfully helped with sorting, organizing, and completing the TOM archive boxes, which contained records spanning a few years. To ensure efficiency, we organized the documents into clearly labeled boxes, streamlining the archiving process. Additionally, we created detailed checklists for each box, making it easier to locate and retrieve specific records when needed. My assistance and input enhanced the efficiency and accuracy of the archiving process, leaving a lasting impact on the department's operations.
