I am a travel industry professional that specialises in Cruise Product. My current role is Cruise Product Manager for helloworld Travel Limited. In this role I oversee the distribution of Cruise products via the groups wholesale and retail divisions Nationally. My role requires me to manage and build pro-active relationships with supplier accounts and to support them with the management, distribution and communication of important product information, assets, collateral, and incentives to our network of agents. We build a product and marketing strategy that is collaborative and beneficial to both the suppliers and the networks requirements. Then activate this through the negotiation of tactical offers and exclusives, the creation and management of marketing campaigns and incentives, the tracking of monthly sales and campaign results to ensure we deliver on agreed outcomes and to project future growth and plan further activity.
In the past two years with the helloworld group I have successfully managed a team of five staff, driving group projects, whilst supporting team development and achievements. I liaise with internal staff and external stakeholders at all levels ensuring pro-active and cohesive relationships are maintained. As a product manager working across multiple businesses, I have strong experience in the planning and development of product initiatives including contracting, negotiations, pricing, competitor analysis, and trade and consumer marketing campaigns. I have increased marketing support from suppliers and negotiated access to tactical fares which has increased the development of exclusive products put to market. I have grown the product portfolio ensuring key suppliers are represented by the company, resulting in growth in forward sales, contributing to increased productivity and assisting in the effort to achieve yearly revenue targets. I am passionate about cruise and I have built my entire career in this industry. My relationships with supplier partners have been built over many years and I am confident in my ability to negotiate the best offers and drive sales with these connections. Im knowledgeable on pricing options and inclusions and know where to push for the very best customer outcomes whilst increasing margins for the company. Marketing and campaign management is part of my role that I particularly enjoy, the responsibility of campaign budgets, marketing calendar management, product negotiation and package building, briefing to designers, pricing and relevant t&c’s, the sign off of all collateral, product and asset load to relevant websites and booking platforms, communication of campaign activity to the relevant wholesale departments and throughout the wider retail networks within the group all sit within my accountabilities.
