- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment's in a hygienic and organized fashion
- Organize all necessary kitchen equipment's to use at right time
- Checking and monitoring temperature of fridges and freezers
- Collect ingredients form store as per cooking requirements and prepare (i.e
- Cutting, peeling, slicing)
- Assisting head chef in menu planning and special dishes
- Reporting head chef every progress of cooking activities and discuss with him if any change or development required
- Prepares and bakes, cookies, puddings, or desserts, according to recipe
- Measures ingredients, using measuring cups and spoon
- Mixes ingredients to form dough or batter, using electric mixer or beats and stirs ingredients by hand
- Shapes dough for cookies and fancy pastries, using pie dough roller and cookie cutter or by hand
- Places shaped dough portion in greased or floured pans and insert them in oven, using long-handled paddle (peel)
- Adjusts draft or thermostatic controls to regulate oven temperatures
- Prepares and cooks ingredients for pie fillings, puddings, custards, or other desserts
- Mixes ingredients to make icings
- Blend colors for icing and shaped sugar ornaments and statuaries
