Summary

I am a Registered Nurse that has just completed the Combined Graduate Program that Austin Hospital offers. I was fortunate enough to experience working in an acute general nursing space as well as a sub-acute mental health space so that I could expand my knowledge of what a Registered Nurse can achieve. I have experienced a range of different patients and environments that I believe has been able to provide me with a solid belief in what a Registered Nurse really represents. I have proven to work well under pressure by being placed to work in High Dependency Units as well as be the Nurse In Charge for some shifts. I love to work in a team and collaborate with the Doctors and Allied Health staff to ensure that I can provide the precise care that my patient needs. I pay attention to detail and escalate as needed. My biggest achievement in my nursing career is that I am always focused on advocating for my patients to ensure that they receive the respectful and ethical care that they are entitled to when being involved in the healthcare system.
