  • As a professional and experienced Disability Recreation Assistant and Disability Support Worker, I support and aid individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities (aged 18 to 40 years) to participate in integrated community activities.
  • Actively support disability clients to participate as valued group members.
  • Enhance client’s social development and skill acquisition.
  • Provide safe and reliable transportation to recreational activities.
  • Assist clients with personal care including continence care, bathing, showering and toileting.
  • Implement first-aid procedures as necessary (certified)
  • Share appropriate information with clients ensuring the privacy policy is followed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, volunteers, family, and community members.
