Young, energetic and confident Boilermaker who is eager to further my trade with the unique experience that would be working in Antarctica. In my years in the trade, I have had the opportunity to be exposed to many different environments in a variety of workplaces. These include the underground mining industry, heavy machinery maintenance, field service roles, fixed plant maintenance, renewable energy, water industry, residential and workshop work. I am keen to meet the exciting challenges that the Australian Antarctic program can bring

FIELD SERVICE BOILERMAKER-FIFO

  • Provided consistent field service support for clients throughout WA including BHP, Rio Tinto and FMG.
  • Balanced my/others roster in accordance with site fatigue policies and operational requirements
  • Maintained compliance with all safety procedures from both client and employer.
  • Liaised with other trades, various contractor companies and supervisors/managers to ensure production targets are met
  • Set up my field service boilermaking truck to be able to perform any tasks that site requires me to do.
  • Manage my long swings (6 week on/1 week off) to stay focused on the task

  • Worked on most Caterpillar machines from small skidsteers to large mining machines such as R2900's, 793's and 993's
