  • Was able to gather a further understanding of how the workshop operates and how the knowledge I acquired during my internship gets used to design and complete jobs.
  • I was able to implement checklists and a system to ensure all material was accounted for before jobs would commence. This made the processing more efficient and effective.
  • I now work within a larger team than that of my internship and have gathered another perspective on how the company operates.
  • Have been given more responsibility on the floor dealing with any shortages or quality issues with the steel before fabrication takes place. Deadlines are set and must be met.

  • Was able to run my own processing jobs towards the conclusion of the internship, notably the support structure of the Geelong Christmas tree located on the waterfront.
