Operating as the face of the venue, primarily service based shifts. Responsibilities included but were not limited to- rostering, inventory management, accommodation and kitchen, team building, security, TAB and gaming, venue compliance and entertainment bookings.

Reviewing P&Ls and being reactive to trade and issues.

Busy entertainment venue with several large events. Service based role, customer focused, coordinating staff and security. General management duties, including cash handling and reporting.

Overseeing four venues between Sydney and Goulburn. Assisting in service development, venue growth, HR, tailoring accounting software and compliance strategies.

Performed as acting Licensee at the Argyle Hotel Moss Vale whilst training management to take on the role.

Acting in a support role to the Licensee, assisted in service and venue control. Being after covid19, the venue was hosting frequent events and was generally very busy.

Put together compliance strategies and worked as a greater team in day to day operations.

Moved to Scotland to oversee a venue take over of the Tomich Hotel. Covid-19 shut venues over extended periods. Moved around working where possible, primarily as wait staff. Using that opportunity to reconnect with the basics of customer service.

Iconic entertainment venue, the role encompassed all aspects and responsibilities. Service, venue operations, venue compliance, entertainment bookings, rostering stock inventory.

Working for Solotel over a fifteen year span, I was involved in a wide range of venues. Licensee of the Courthouse Hotel Newtown, Bank Hotel Newtown, The Erko Erskineville and Hotel Chambers in Martin Place.

Other venues on a management level- Kings Cross Hotel, Golden Sheaf Double Bay, Clock Hotel Surry Hills.

The experience I gained from Solotel was priceless and covered all areas from operations to financial control.
