Highly enthusiastic carpentry foreman wanting to take the next step in my career by leveraging my decade of construction experience along with the previous decade of B2B account management to move into a permanent foreman position with a long term goal of landing in Project Management.

I've spent the last 6 years working as a contractor for a variety of companies, ranging from residential builders doing high end extensions in Sydney all the way to commercial builders working on jobs such as the Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, with the last 4 years focused between high density unit timber floor installation and finally overseeing a residential extension/renovation.

I have full confidence in my ability and my persona to work alongside a high level construction team to deliver first class finishes no matter what type of build it is.

Why GWH?

Once I made the decision to shift away from contracting and seek out full time employment, the option of who to call first for me was simple. It was always GWH.

Through contracting I've worked for a large amount of builders both across Newcastle & Sydney. I can confidently say the best experience I've had to date was working on SKY Apartments for GWH.

The level of professionalism displayed from the top down, with what felt like just as much attention focused on the detail as it was on the timeline standing out to great appreciation. I have always gone about my own work in the exact same manner, being always wary of timelines but never letting them compromise the quality of my work. I believe this would be confirmed by any of the PM's & Foreman who oversaw SKY.

I appreciate the opportunity to put myself forward for any upcoming roles within GWH, including any that would still require me to be physically on the tools, as long as there is clear career progression in mind.
