Continued as a Production Electrician on Grosvenor Mine's Longwall. This saw me at the forefront of Grosvenor's biggest production department encompassing fault finding during production as well as major/minor repairs to its electrical equipment and maintenance.
Started and Finished apprenticeship at Grosvenor Mine as an Underground Electrician and continued working as a Tradesman. Experienced in-depth exposure to all mining departments that encompass the Mine electrically as well as the equipment, machinery and responsibilities pertaining to each area. (Longwall, Development, Outbye, Workshop and Surface Infrastructure). This involved commissioning, testing and maintaining, project work, repairs, fault finding, overhauls, upgrades, hazardous areas and high voltage work to name a few.
Conducted in-seam directional drilling and Gas Drainage operations at Grosvenor Mine. During my time with Radco I had carried out various roles within the company such as supervisor, coordinator, drill rig operator and trainer and assessor.
Underwent apprenticeship and trade as a Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Technician. Worked with various types of air-conditioning/refrigeration and plant equipment for 5 years. Frequent exposure to Fault Finding control circuitry and work with a vast selection of electronic motors and other electronic components.
