Summary

I'm a driven and eager individual who is looking to further my career in the IT industry. I graduated from university with a Bachelor of Networking and Cybersecurity in 2019 and have a rich understanding of a variety of IT systems ranging from Virtualization to EUC support. My current position has deepened my understanding of enterprise IT systems and their impact on a corporate and end user level including and demonstrated my skills in maintaining business SLAs as well as managing and exceeding customer expectations. I now find myself pursuing my passion for cyber security.

Communication – I communicate effectively with a wide range of people where I adjust my style of communication according to the situation, audience, and context.

Problem solving – Problem solving is something I achieve effectively; when a problem arises, I identify the situation, and I use my initiative to find appropriate solutions.

Flexibility - I have a flexible and open-minded attitude and I embrace the fact that the Information Technology industry constantly changes.

Self-motivation and positive attitude – I am self-motivated and possess a positive attitude towards working and managing my time. I work effectively both independently and as part of a team and am driven and eager to develop new skills and experience. During the transition to working-from-home due to COVID-19, I maintained a high work ethic, meeting and exceeded KPI's.

System Engineer

In my current position as a system engineer, I work dynamically across a range of clients, working on both projects and BAU break fix. this role also has a requirement of being a 24 hour on-call escalation for lvel1 teams. Listed below are day to day responsibilities and achievements.


  • Lead engineer on a Network re-design and refreshment project for a Nation-wide multi site
  • Maintenance and upkeep of a multitude of virtual environments, Citrix, Hyper-V, Vmware
  • Onsite visits and meetings with clients, both frontline members and High level Corporate staff, forming professional relationships
  • Working alongside sales teams to determine hardware and software requirements
  • Completing as-built documentation and infrastructure audits for new clients
  • Windows server, Hyper-V, Azure and VMware SME
  • Management and remediation of escalated tickets
